Over the weekend we drew the curtain on the Patient-Centered Care Programme (PCC) 2018. It has been an interesting, engaging and highly educative sprint with front-line clinicians. On this cohort of the PCC Programme, we had participants from over 15 facilities such as Lagoon Hospitals, St Nicolas, General Hospital Alimosho, General Hospital Badagry, The Great Physician and more. The programme gathered frontline clinicians comprising Hospital Administrators, Nurses, Doctors, Pharmacists, and Physiotherapists who are involved with direct patient care. As a part of the masterclass, they had a 3 months capstone project to implement a patient-centred care project within their facilities using all that they had been thought and report on the effects of this. The Capstone presentation was a great day of feedback and shared learning amongst the participants. We are proud of the PCC 2018 cohort and we are confident that they will be a part of the change agents driving for transformation within the healthcare sector.
